an orbital, the name used in the 60’s, was an aircraft,SR 71, that would go up as far as possible flying like an airplane/jet. at the right time they would angle up and fire the solid fuel rockets that would take them into orbit. all of these problems are engineered into failure to keep us on a flat earth.
Keep wearing your tinfoil. We appreciate the warning.
Yeah, that’s why the International Space Station (ISS) has been in ORBIT and CONTINUOUSLY occupied for OVER 26 YEARS. You can see it when it flies overhead with a decent pair of binoculars*. ‘Cause of “flat earth” and all that “engineered failure”, huh Kommie Donnie? Personally I look forward to every one of these demonstrations where you trot out your massive imbecility and put it proudly on display for all to appreciate what a nitwit you are. *(It’s not just a point of light in the sky either. You can see the shape and the solar panel “wings”. You can… Read more »
I agree with Rich Ouellette below. NASA needs to be re-branded as nothing more than a Never-ending Acquisition of Squandered Assets.
IMHO NaSA is no longer relevant and should again be broke up as it was before WW2. Why? (1) The worst part of NasA is the extreme costs associated with the massively bloated Administration. (2) NASA & Boeing brain-drain has made their space programs a laughing stock. Meanwhile, “Perpetual” funding sustains extremely expensive and largely low/sub-quality h/w produced from contractor(s). Break it up – again. Separate Space & Aeronautics (recall NACA?). Eliminate the entire rogue Administration workforce that has embraced foolishness like DEI & “Climate Change”. NASA should no longer develop, nor produce a thing, but should be directed to… Read more »
I absolutely love the Kennedy quote.
