For much of our history, Chicago has called itself America’s Second City. But ever since the early 80’s LA has surpassed Chicago in population. And now, after decades of endless striving, LA appears to have become America’s Second City of Corruption as well.

In the description, you mention Chicago as the Second City refers to its population. Around here (the Chicago area), it is said that Chicago is the Second City because the first one pretty much burned down. And the land between Michigan Avenue and Lake Michigan is the debris from the remains after the fire.
I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am that I don’t have to live in the shithole that Los Angeles and Los Angeles County are anymore. Responsible people see this and are simply giving up – and voting w/their feet. They’ve reduced voting in elections to nothing more significant than dropping one’s Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes entry in the mail.
Let’s suppose that this national popular vote Electoral Vote nonsense becomes a reality. It’s not hard to envision a situation where the entire country is forced to sit and wait for weeks and weeks while the backroom boys in California manufacture enough mail-order ballots to hand the state’s 54 electoral votes to whichever leftist candidate the national party has decided will be the winner.
The rampant fraud of mail-in balloting caused France to stop the practice. For the second time, I repeat; FRANCE stopped mail-in ballots. And they’re lefty as “F”. I’ve said this in the very recent past and it should be obvious the method should be limited. Vote harvesting is an obvious means to change election results.
It’s a shame we even think about dropping in to this crazy state to vote because they don’t require ID. Why not go out to elementary schools and old folks homes for a harvest, too? Because we need to have faith in elections, that’s why.
I think everyone is missing is that LA is a step in a disturbing progression. 2020 was “We didn’t cheat – stop believing your lying eyes!”
Fast forward six years, and we’re now at the stage of “It’s not cheating if we made it legal.”
I’m guessing that the next is “Don’t bother showing up since we’ve already rigged it”

Scott is right, of course , the Democrats always want to put control in the hands of the central government since they then would only have to cheat in one election to get hold of the levers of power. They thought they had Nirvana inches away in 2016 and then HE came and the shock of that loss is the source of the current TDS. They can’t even give him a spoonful of credit for the reflecting pool. One nut is saying if they win they’ll tear down the ballroom.
Someone needs to file suit to the effect that states can only mail out ballots randomly to everyone if they can prove that their voter roles are spotless.
