My family owned and ran a small market/party Store for 40 years. The most expensive square footage was in the coolers because the cost of keeping stuff cold was high. The average markup in the coolers was 20% while the markup on the few groceries we had on the shelves was 33%. How many zeros in the mayor’s kickback?
If I were a bodega owner I’d be heading over to the Bane Store to load up on as much discounted stuff as I could carry, then bring it back over to my store to resell at a profit (to me) and discount (to the buyer).
This is communism to the core, and its sole purpose is to enrich the entitled and to force all the serfs into equal poverty while establishing a two-tiered class system: 1) the pigs inside the farm house and 2) the rest of the barnyard animals fighting to survive in the squalor. Once such a class system exists it becomes very easy to control the masses.
What still surprises me is the fact that the majority NYC voting public chose this future.
My favorite parts are: The government chooses which food you need, which was deemed an unforgivable sin when proposed by RFK Jr about food stamps. You need a government ID to purchase, which has been screeched as racist by every democrat anti voter ID activist for decades. Its an amazing thing to witness.

But I do feel sorry for those who voted against it and are negatively effected.
For those who voted for it, well, maybe they can learn from it. But I wouldnt hold my breath.
