My brain just went the way it often does: weird.
I thought “Why foam on the bottom? Why not on the side?”
Of course, it would always be on the extreme left side.🙄
I warned you, dear readers, that it was weird.😏
Owner & liberal activist Kirk Bangstad metastasized TDS, has eroded his character & virtue while cultivating violent tendencies. His TDS fails to embrace compassion, magnanimity & empathy. In exchange for what? Spite? Cruelty? Both normalize hate, making it “ok”. His death celebration erodes his ability for mutual respect, thus fostering vengeance. Death wish & celebrating anyone’s demise makes for a negative, stressed, and hostile progressive “Karen-class” liberal. (what a surprise) His TDS polarizes & dehumanizes, normalizing indifference to human suffering, escalating to violence. Who’d want to spend time w/people like this? The Minocqua Brewing Company brewery posted January 2026 “We almost… Read more »
I really like Bill’s suggestion. Assuming this nimrod is still in business by then – he has a number of legal issues outside of his stupid TDS
Idiots are just going to be idiots. That’s life, that’s just the way it is. You can either take their imbecility seriously, which is what they want you to do and is itself a form of idiocy, or you can freely spend upon them the laughter and derision they richly deserve and be entertained thereby. As long as their idiocy remains harmless that is. Sadly much imbecility is not harmless and poses a real threat. In which case you are obligated to take countermeasures. Is the beer good? He is in Wisconsin and his beer is made in Illinois!
Being this is in my state (though not in any way “my guy”) I feel I gotta chime in. As Scott mentioned in his close, its regulations, not political chicanery that is shutting this guy down. A part of the tax dodging is this guy is, as I understand it, brewing some of the beer he sells in another state (Illinois I think) and as Steve complained, that shouldn’t matter but we have some really weird rules and regs on beer and alcohol in this state. Probably because we are such prolific drinkers, and partly local politics, our Tavern League… Read more »
Agree with Steve regarding licensing—in general.
Food safety seems like something worth considering, as long as there are reasonable criteria, not based on whether or not you’re a nice guy or you bribe well.
At times during the work week I’m surrounded by lefties. They speak knowingly to each other about how these are the worst of times ever to be alive as they prepare for the next “No Kings” rally. They say that when we have the easy-to-imagine potential to have a golden age of peace because of today’s brave efforts. It would only take a little effort to get behind the president and the truth about things would be appreciated.
So to put it another way …
You work with a bunch of delusional morons who would make Joe Stalin and Adolf Hitler proud of their efforts to consolidate power to usher in a Worker’s Utopia. Which of course they can’t see anything negative about that, what could possibly go wrong? Because hey, your co-workers all know better than actual, real, unrevised history.
You have my sympathies, Doc. Your restraint in not slapping them all silly is commendable.
