The Bret Baier interview with Elon Musk and the Doge team is so convincing. March 27. God bless their work!

I grit my teeth and watch the PBS NewsHour regularly. Opposition research. They have yet to mention anything about wasted tax dollars. Shameless bias. They will only cover what Andrew Klavan calls the “teardrop stories” about curtailed food aid or medical programs. Because of their bias, I doubt their accuracy regarding the stories they do tell. I did get a huge laugh when they featured a spokesman for — was it Media Matters?–who was up in arms over the proliferation of right-leaning media and the public’s preference for it. How will they hear the Left’s side of the story? Oh,… Read more »

It frustrates me I haven’t yet learned how to obtain a government grant based on my race/gender/instrument in a jazz band/favorite vegetable/unusual pet/slant of the hillside I live on/temperature of the lake outside my window/distance I drive to work/lunch preference/size of my mailbox/potential for silliness…..

Correction, Steve… 35 billion is more than 4 times the 8 billion budget… not 3 times.

“Expain the rutabega.”
It is a fat, purple banana. It’s rather sick given the fact that it is the general shape and color of a favorite childhood character named Barney and these so-called queer folk are typically pedophiles. Yuck.

Bravo, Bill. The moral aspect of this insanity (queer farmers or whatever the government official feels he’s got no option to throw money at) is being diluted and needs to be front and center.

These “government officials” making these absolutely insane decisions need to be ostracized, ridiculed, expunged and expelled from everything except their lives.

Scott, I have to nod my head in appreciation for the extraordinary lengths you went to in order to excuse the government bureaucrat from his/her fiducial responsibility to the TAXPAYER. (Said fiducial responsibility is a crucial element in my mind, but I must not be in accord with your average bureaucrat.) You even said you were going to “put the best possible complexion” on this insanity, so you then used the bureaucrat’s logic to spend money the government doesn’t have. Congratulations, Scott. You’ve achieved the pinnacle of government bureaucratic “success” and rather than sell furniture, I believe you’d have been… Read more »

I could give a flying f#ck what the farmer sexual preferences are. As Nancy Reagan said … “Just say – NO” … to stupid. There should be ZERO information on grant application w/r/t sex, race, color, or creed. Save the $B’s for those who deserve it (alligned to national needs) or desporately need it – else GIVE IT BACK to the general pool and use it on other needy projects (like defense) (or reduce the deficit (!?) – which helps every single USA citizen, albiet not very sexy news-wise). Dag nab it – why do some feel the need to… Read more »
