A message from Christmas of 2010, when the world was simpler, and I was just a wee whippersnapper. I spent all day looking for this and I’m glad I did, because despite all that has happened since then, every word of it remains true. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Wonderful, positive, and timeless Christmas message, Bill. I was reminded of the Michael Pollan book, “The Botany of Desire.” which is an interesting take on human desires in the natural world.

I remember sitting with the Spiegel Christmas catalog when I was eight or nine years old, fantasizing about the 3 inch reflecting telescope in the catalog. I got the telescope for Christmas and took it outside to and started looking at stars that evening. Thanks for sharing this Bill. I’m a little late coming to the party. I’ve been a subscriber for just a couple of years. Feel free to share as much of the older stuff. I’m sure it’s still very relevant and I’m not the only one playing catch up. Merry Christmas and thanks again.

I truly love your Firewalls, Bill. I’ve seen quite a bit of them, even when you were still at that other place. I hope you and your lovely bride have had a wonderful Christmas and that your New Year will be all you want it to be. Love from an old (literally) fan.

Minor point of contention, those who want to rule us will be there whether we rule ourselves or not. The bad guys have been pushing us into giving them an excuse. Resist them. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good fight!

“The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and punishment of his guilt.”

He did not speak idly in saying that.
