Things to Come, Part 1: The Theory

In their remarkable book, The Fourth Turning, respected historians William Strauss and Neil Howe claimed to have discovered an eighty-year cycle in human events. The evidence for this cycle — the Romans called it the saeculum — is compelling, and if Strauss and Howe are correct, this theory is highly accurate in predicting when the next crisis will occur. 

The bad news is, all evidence points to the fact that The Fourth Turning has arrived, and crisis is at hand. The good news is that we have been through this many times before. The question is, what is coming and how can we prepare for it?
