A Black Lives Matter protest recently ran headlong into a MAGA counter-protest in Dallas. No one was prepared for what happened next.

Coups, earthquakes, and three-legged chickens. I love it.
We don’t have to agree on everything to get along with each other.
99 out of 100 people are capable of getting on with each other. “Did you know that if you put 100 black ants and 100 red ants in a jar, nothing will happen? But if you shake the jar hard, the ants start killing each other. The red ants consider the black ants their enemies, and the black ants consider the red ants their enemies. The true enemy is the one shaking the jar. The same thing happens in human society. So, before we attack each other, we should think about who is shaking the jar.” Kurt Vonnegut. The jar is… Read more »
OH SHIT! If that kind of thing keeps up we might have a catastrophic outbreak of good will, peace, prosperity and equality. It doesn’t really matter how this came about. If it was spontaneous, scripted or fully staged and orchestrated. What matters is there were people of diverse races trying to show the world that they want to get along with each other. The message is the same regardless. If it was planned and executed that proves there are people on both/every side who were willing to commit time and effort into a message they wanted to get out. If… Read more »
Something like this happened in Dallas during the original BLM protests. The protestors were actually matching with police officers. (At least that’s what the radio news said.) However, that night, a sole individual – whose Dad did citizen’s watch, a pro-police activity – murdered several police officers and literally turned downtown Dallas into a war zone. (I was living in Plano at the time, not that far from where Scott lives. Plano is essentially a Dallas suburb, and the radio warned us to stay out of the area.)
(I am just reporting, without drawing too many conclusions.)
ALL cops ARE criminals because Mugler v. Kansas 123 U.S. 623, 659-60.8. “Under our system of government upon the individuality and intelligence of the citizen, the state” does not claim to control him/her, except as his/her conduct to others, leaving him/her the sole judge as to all that affects himself/herself.” (see Christy v. Elliot, 216 III. 31, 74 NE 1035; Cal v. Farley, 98 Cal. 09, 20 CA 3d 1032; Mich. v. Duke, 266 US 576, 69, 449.) State police power extends only to immediate threats to public safety, health, and welfare.
How many times have you cut and paste this info? No thought involved…which is probably what normally resides in your brain.
One definition of insanity says it is repeating the same thing and expecting different results.
I’m also reminded of Matthew 6:7 “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.”
Just substitute “comment” or “type” for “pray” and you’ve got it.
Take it away, ACTS (TM)…..

Yeah, we already covered and debunked your bullshit take on Mugler v. Kansas, dipstick. Mugler lost that case, the police power of the State of Kansas to prevent him from making and selling alcoholic beverages without a license was affirmed by the courts, the police power to punish him criminally if he did so even though he did not pose “immediate threats to public safety, health and welfare” was upheld. The State of Kansas absolutely DID exercise control over Mugler, his enterprise was closed down, and Kansas DID NOT leave him to “be the sole judge” of whether he could… Read more »
I normally let you handle “commie Donnie”, but I was really pissed by this obvious cut and paste for some reason. It’s like he ate cabbage, Brussel sprouts and other odiferious things, let it build up, walk into a small room, let loose a near weapons grade fart, smile, and leave. So I let loose my asshole specialty: sarcasm and/or mockery. And I went for mockery, since it deserved it. I use it very rarely. For some reason the Matthew quote came to mind so I included it. Seemed to fit. Then I thought of the below St Thomas More… Read more »
A, I do believe your learning how to get your point across. Good work!
ACK! your>you’re
Proofreading not as fast as my posting finger….
Well, you are certainly welcome to your opinion, but hyperbolic claims like “ALL cops ARE criminals” do nothing but paint you as an insane fool in the eyes of any rational and discerning human being.
And you know that the INSTANT that something threatens or inconveniences Lil Commie Donny, he’ll be screaming and hollering for Jonny law to come drag his bacon out of the fire.
Just like all the other ACAB idiots do the instant someone takes umbrage at their tantrums.
I’m 71 years old and the first to say that we, conservatives, have been far too restrained in our response to the riots and “mostly peaceful” protests!! I have to admit that the video Bill showed choked me up. I’ve always hoped to see this but never really expected it. Hopefully we will be seeing more of this.
I agree with you on the ‘too restrained’ aspect. I am NOT a “nice conservative”. If I ever encountered one of these leftists who objected to my MAGA hat or other apparel, I would not be the calm, rational individual attempting to reason with them about why they stole my property. I would teach them a lesson in “actions have consequences“, then remit them to police custody, somewhat worse for wear. Fortunately, I live in an area where the law agrees with the idea that snatching someone’s belongings out of their hands constitutes assault, and that appropriate action in response… Read more »
Unfortunately, this did not have the impact hoped for given that it looked like it was a staged event on both sides with a predetermined outcome. Perhaps it was how the video was cut and edited that prevented underlying motivations from actually being made obvious. That being said, the message is good and Bill’s final comments are exactly right. We should not be motivated by division and hatred with an undying lust for violent confrontation and drama.
