THAT…. was classic Stephen Green ai his finest and most entertaining Vodkapundit EVAH!!
As good as any “Hair of the Dog” or “The Week in Blogs” I had ever seen. And I’ve seen them all!……”being Kamala is haaaard!”. Way to go Steve. Bill was so happy he almost snorted.

You simply cannot imitate a Donald Trump. You either are, or you are not. There is no “pretending to be …”

As far as ‘writers for the dem party goes,’ not going work. The party at this point is back to pre-Civil War bluster and ignorance. They need to re-do their re-done Cracker Barrel logo from the bottom up.

My sense of humor runs dry and sometimes dark, so I knew Steve was joking–but it was a great joke and a great way to introduce his topic.

Steve really had me going, believing that there really was a movie. Good one, Steve!

The video froze at 3:51. I could go before that point and it would play to that point and freeze again. I could move past that point, and it remained frozen.

Interesting. The video played fully for me.

Maybe use a different browser? Is your Internet connection solid–for instance, your wi-fi is strong? I know I am grasping at straws but wanted to suggest a couple of things that might be causing the issue (like you are trying to watch the video and your son is playing some online game as well as your daughter and your wife is streaming a show).

It ran just fine here. Which would not be the case if the problem were on the server side of things, we’d all be seeing the same issue. I know you’re not ignorant about this stuff so … Don’t know what to tell you. Have you tried playing it again to see if the problem repeats? Should only have to scroll past the previous point of failure to see if it does the same thing or not. If it does repeat the problem is on your end. You might want to consider running a DPC latency check for starters. If… Read more »

I have a similar issue…..every so often, on everything I watch. It freezes and the screen goes blank. Bring it up again, and it continues from where it started. Browsers dont seem to make a difference, and when I check, my internet is strong and steady and no-one else is using it. It has never, so far, stopped at the same place. It also occurs on both of my Kindles that are different versions. In fact, the older one works a bit better. But I use it less. I’ve learned to live with it, as nothing I try works, and… Read more »

Brian didn’t say what platform the device he’s viewing this on is so it’s really hard to solve his problem. Well, not really hard, impossible actually if the device/OS/software is unknown. However, in your case we know that so … Have you “made yourself a developer” and unlocked the hidden menu on your tablet(s)? If not then you should. From that menu you can shut off everything you don’t want to run and one of the really handy commands allows you to set all tasks to terminate upon closing. That means that when you close an app it doesn’t run… Read more »

Thanks for the info, per usual. I have instructions as sideloading Google play, but can never get enough uninterrupted time. Go ahead send me a link, in case it’s easier than what I have.

You’ve been very helpful, and it’s appreciated.

This is the site I generally use, it covers the broadest range of Fire OS versions. At least the broadest I’ve found so far.

Thanks again. I’ve not had time so far to get developer access or check this other link. However, I think I may have found the source of my screen going blank and when I check everything is ok. For the first time, me and my wife had the same issue at the same time. Down for a second them right back, often going back to where we interrupted. Sounds almost like a packet loss. Then I remembered. Some time ago I had the connection drop for several seconds to a few minutes instead of one second, and quite often. The… Read more »

Ah, that’s a horse of a different color then. The test for that would be to go to a different video platform fed by a different video streaming service and different content provider and see if it happens there too. Preferably when the wind is blowing. If it does it then it has nothing to do with BillWhittle.com I know I sound like an apologist for BWC and I’m not that at all. If I thought there was an issue here I’d point it out the same as for any other site. Stuff happens, the more stuff you have or… Read more »

Diagnosing this to make sure would be a pain. Since I have had something similar occur before, I’m just going to call the cable company. Can’t hurt.. Much 😉 I’ve never blamed this on Billwhitle.com, or random ads either. Both occurs intermittently on about every site I access. I knew it was something from the provider to my screen, but not any specific site. It’s not PIBKAC either: Problem Is Between Keyboard And Chair . Sure you’ve seen that before and made that diagnoses. I have when I programmed for a living. Also heard it as PEBKAC, where it’s “exists”… Read more »

We laugh, but the good old USA elected a demented creep monetizing his future using Mob-style tactics to grift the country just an election ago. (When he got elected, I would tell any patient with early dementia that there must be some good, promising medications out there that can help because a stage IV victim is president who should have died from his brain deterioration a year before.) There are so many examples of soulless creeps able to obtain office out there, voted in by unthinking, unsound voters, that I can’t feel comfortable we are winning. Congress hangs on by… Read more »

Not only that, let us not forget the earlier, racist, two-termed debacle that promised to fundamentally change America. Given the recent four-term track record, the current USA electorate has a 75% chance to screw itself into poverty and global irrelevance.

Yeah but historically none of that is new or particularly alarming. Biden isn’t even the first incapacitated POTUS who had his term operated from behind the scenes by puppet masters. Woodrow Wilson gets that distinction and there are interesting parallels between Wilson and what we just went through with ol’ Potato Head Joe. Somehow we manage to make it through this stuff despite the fact that when you put things in the hands of The People they can get pretty darn messy. That’s just the way our Constitutional Democratic Republic works. Your choice is to continue with a Democratic Republic… Read more »

Woodrow Wilson’s infirmity led to the disastrous “Treaty of Versailles” which led to WW II. Fingers crossed.

We can also thank ol’ Woody for the League of Nations, which later morphed into the U.N. and has been a monkey on our backs ever since. The very few times the U.N. has been helpful to our side those goals could have been accomplished easier, cheaper and better by other means. Like I said, there are interesting parallels and as such I think there are historic lessons to be learned regarding what happens when the man sitting in the Oval Office isn’t actually running things or even in control of his own faculties. I don’t know what can be… Read more »
