I happened into the living room the other night, as the BBC “news” was airing its obligatory segment on the evil doin’s of those dastardly Israelis on the telly. There on screen, was a Palestinian mother holding the “corpse of her child,” all wrapped up in a dazzling white piece of fabric. (Will somebody please tell me what laundry detergent they use over there? I want some!)
