Criticism of Operation Epic Fury continues to come in from the usual suspects… and some of the unusual ones as well. In this episode of Right Angle, Scott, Steve and Bill wrestle not with strategy and objectives but rather morality and historical wisdom. Many times life is not about good and bad options; many times it’s about bad and worse ones.

I swear, some people would not say there is an “imminent threat” even if a nuclear ICBM was nanoseconds from hitting Los Angles. New York City and Washington DC at the same time. And I’ve heard “Why not hit Notth Korea then? They have nukes and are working on long range missiles.” Well, they have not said “Death to America”, actually killed hundreds by their weapons, and most importantly are not a Death cult. The mullahs think this will bring Islam to the world, and consider dying for it to bring great rewards. North Koreans are sane. Iran, not so… Read more »
Little Kim is saner than the mullahs.
That is a very low bar to clear.
So low that if it were a limbo bar, the legendary Tom Thumb couldn’t get under it.😏

“…, and now we are unhappening it.” ~Bill Whittle Yes. That is the best line of this exchange. Thank you, Bill. This “unhappening” is long overdue, and all those in disagreement can go pound what passes for sand in the Ayatollah’s current hot, unhappy place. How “imminent” does the threat need to be?
Iran and their proxies have been attacking the West for 47 years!
Defense of the US does not need to follow the same rules of engagement as defense of an individual (e.g., the triad of self-defense).
Iran has been threatening “death to America” and they were developing nuclear weapons. How close should we have let them come before the threat was imminent?
From the perspective of national defense, once the threat is proclaimed, the opposing response is required. This “unhappening” is at least 46 years overdue.
