I’ll trust the government when I can beat it in a fist fight. Blindfolded, with both hands and one leg tied behind my back. But only if my wallet and my data are locked in a safe only I can open. Power is a magnet for the corrupt, I wouldn’t trust government if it didn’t have the resources to violate The Constitution and raid us.

The right uses words to pursue and find truth. The left uses words as blunt instruments in an attempt to wield power. This is why it is so easy for them to ignore their own transgressions. Talking about their depravity does not increase their control.
What I get tired of is when Trump mis-peaks, exaggerates or hyperbolizes — and granted he does these things a lot because he’s not particularly careful with his words — he’s a “liar”. When the Left does nothing but exaggerate, hyperbolize and lie the legacy media never ever calls them on it. For example, recently Trump criticized Zelensky for “starting” the Ukraine war. Trump knew Zelensky didn’t start that war because he campaigned that Russia had started a war during every recent administration but his first one. Not Ukraine, Russia. So he knew.
