The right uses words to pursue and find truth. The left uses words as blunt instruments in an attempt to wield power. This is why it is so easy for them to ignore their own transgressions. Talking about their depravity does not increase their control.
What I get tired of is when Trump mis-peaks, exaggerates or hyperbolizes — and granted he does these things a lot because he’s not particularly careful with his words — he’s a “liar”. When the Left does nothing but exaggerate, hyperbolize and lie the legacy media never ever calls them on it. For example, recently Trump criticized Zelensky for “starting” the Ukraine war. Trump knew Zelensky didn’t start that war because he campaigned that Russia had started a war during every recent administration but his first one. Not Ukraine, Russia. So he knew. My take, and you know my bias, so there’s that, was that Vance let the body language and attitude of Zelenskyy get under his skin and Trump was trying desperately to keep his proposed deal for peace in order.
Then I don’t think you’re giving Trump the credit he’s actually due. Trump’s no fool, he knew Zelenskyy was trying to play him in front of the American media and he knew that no desperate hail mary pass was going to “save” his deal. Trump knows how to get what he wants and that’s what was going on. Zelenskyy is a poser and they sliced away his facade.
