It appears something happened with comments the other day so I will try again.

The Ruthless Progrum had the CEO of Valar Atomics who are also prototyping a factory built Nuclear Power Plant system.
They plan to have it online in June of next year in Utah in time for the 250th celebration.

Interesting modular concept.

Whoever claimed that the Internet is forever was a fool, ignorant of the realities of server and database failures.

A previously-submitted comment by Brother Bob reminded us of the increasing demand for power by data centers will require nuclear power generation. Unfortunately, the recent database SNAFU on this site has apparently deleted his comment. That being said, here is my response: It’s not just the data centers that are requiring an ever-increasing amount of available energy. If EIA’s 2023 projections are reasonable, then the USA may only increase its total usage by 15%. These projections contradict EIA’s previous predictions in 2019. Of course, the IEA had some updated projections of increased growth rates beyond 2024, with China at the… Read more »

Nicola Teslas Wardenclyffe tower would have powered the world but Westinghouse pulled funding. again how do you not know this stuff, are you being bought off?

Oh really? Go ahead and build Tesla’s Wardenclyffe tower and you’ll be rich and famous. It’s not a big secret, Nikola Tesla told everyone how it’s supposed to work so knock yourself out. Send us a postcard and let us know when you’re ready to bring your magic power station online.

So we can all laugh at you.

Again.

solar panel energy goes INTO the grid DURING THE DAY causing your meter to go backwards and at NIGHT you draw from the grid causing the meter to go forward. God are you guys that clueless?

Seems to me that a “Sovereign Citizen” LIKE YOU who believes the Earth is flat, that the moon is an alien spaceship, that the United States of America is a corporate possession of Great Britain, that Europeans are the actual lost tribes of Israel and the Jews are slavic imposters, that the law is arbitrary and subject to your whims and caprice etc., etc., etc., … Has pretty much ZERO room to talk about anyone else being “clueless”.

Just sayin’.

Even after the recent database SNAFU on this site, you remain ignorant of reality. The meters never run backwards. As my own solar system demonstrates, the multiple meters measure the amount of electricity consumed and the amount of electricity produced. Unfortunately, this means that we pay retail prices for consumption and receive wholesale prices for production. The solar scam has many facets that annoy us.

the cowardliness of the cops that did not arrest the politicians responsible for the acceptance of crime.

So go use your powers as a Sovereign Citizen and arrest those politicians. Try them in your kangaroo court and convict them. Then impose sentence and carry it out.

Let us all know how that works out for you. I can’t speak for anyone else but I can’t wait to see you put your bullshit theories to the test.

While I am hopeful that this proves successful, I am not optimistic. I know of other modular designs (e.g., NuScale Power) that have received licensing approval from the NRC and have suffered significant financial hardships due to the continued opposition to nuclear in the USA. The anti-nuke bloc is very powerful in this country, which is full of ignorant boobs with voting power.

All of this positively-good news, and then I see headlines and clips like the following:

  • WARNING: Newsom Confirms Presidential Run
  • Zohran Mamdani for New York City Mayor
  • AOC: Middle of the Pack Candidate for US President
  • etc.

Such realities are reminiscent of Atlas Shrugged, where a successful Corporate America loses to the tyrants in the round houses across the nation.

A couple of thoughts on the show: The mass produced, modular reactor analogy is better stated as: “the difference between Bill’s Camaro being mass produced on an assembly line and being hand-built by one guy from a set of plans he got from somebody else.” The other item is that I believe that Scott is mistaken about home energy production. The way I understand it (courtesy of an electrical engineer of whom I am acquainted) is that the solar panels provide energy to the house first, and a storage bank if you have one. THEN, any excess is routed into… Read more »
