A seventh-grade student who decided to push back against the trans agenda in public schools arrived in class wearing a t-shirt reading, “There are only two genders.” He was told to remove the shirt. He refused. He was sent home. He came back wearing the same shirt with the word CENSORED tape over the original message. He was sent home again.
SCOTUS, apparently, is not interested.

‘There are only two genders: male and female‘ Personally, I grew up w/uniforms in parochial school, which kept ‘opinions’ off our backs, and into spoken words. If this shirt is allowed, then others with potentially bad thoughts like “kill the xxx’s” will also be allowed. What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander. Focus on reading, writing, arithmatic … the rest leave for recess or for Dad & Mom to teach.
Once again we see the fecklessness and cowardice of the Roberts Supreme Court.
YES the laws “should” apply to everyone equally all the time but cops get a pass on “mistakes” with qualified immunity. cops are also general given lighter sentences after conviction of a crime. Growing up, I was taught “gender” applied to grammar (masculine, feminine, neuter). “Sex” applied to biology (male, female).
Lots of things we were taught growing up don’t seem to be taught any longer.

Quite simply it was not a message approved by the Power. Its the whole double standards thing. Its (D)ifferent when we do it.
I grew up with people wearing “Che'” t-shirts despite what chaos and death the Cuban insurrection inflicted on the Cuban people. Lots of kids that came over to the States probably had relatives killed. Today there are “From the River to the Sea” t-shirts celebrating the October 7th massacre. I don’t know how Jewish people don’t lose their minds. If we’re free to possibly upset these kids at school, positing there are two sexes should be much less traumatizing. It’s too bad the kid did not have a friend who would wear the shirt Scott suggested. Then they would have had a real dichotomy to point out and truly show fairness. He could have also gone the more subtle route. There is a company called XX – XY Athletics that was created to support keeping men out of women’s sports.
