The American Indian, relying on his native self-sufficiency and love of his people, adjusts to the Ways of the White Man and finds a solution to the problem of feeding his people. Sounds like a tale of the Old West… but it’s not. It’s a tale of the New West, and it’s AWESOME.

We have purchased bison from a ranch in Palmer, AK. The man runs about 70 head. Great meat. Even had the hide processed. Have a really nice robe now.
I miss the kosher bison burgers we used to get. I don’t see them anymore; maybe it wasn’t cost-effective.
Bison is great. But do not over cook it–get the burgers and steaks at medium or rawer.
I found a restaurant in CT that I would get a bison burger with duck bacon and smoked cheddar cheese–Heaven on a bun. Eventually, they did not have duck bacon, but the burger was still great.
I also agree that it is better for us to take care of each other when necessary and not get the government involved.
Bison is very good for u and great. My Dad git 1 one time and an Aunt wouldn’t eat it. He cooked a beef roast & a buffalo roast & she couldn’t tell the difference. Also Christianity says WeThe People are supposed to take care of our family and neighbors NOT the government who takes our $ thru theft and distributes it as they wish.
I remember a comic I cannot find right now, of Jesus speaking to a crowd about taking care of your neighbor, and a word bubble from someone in the crowd saying “You mean give money to the Romans and let them take care of it?”
🙃 😆 !!
A group of my friends and I used to go to Canada to hunt bison. Interesting critters. Anyway, over the years, I harvested 9 bison, brought them back, had them butchered and we enjoyed them immensely. Used to also have a group that met once a month for B3 (B-cubed) night on a Friday evening. We would go to that pistol range and shoot bullets (1st B), then come back to my house to barbeque Bison (2nd B) and drink Beer (3rd B). great times. A little past my prime nowadays and all of us have split to other locales,… Read more »
In the 1963 movie McLintock, George Washington McLintock, delivers response on behalf of the Comanche. We are an old people, and a proud people. When the white man first came among us, we were as many as the grasses of the prairie. Now we are few, but we are still proud, for if a man loses pride in manhood he is nothing . You tell us now that if we will let you send us away to this place called ‘Fort Sill’, you will feed us and care for us. Let us tell you this: it is a Comanche law… Read more »
The Left thinks an act of moral good has to come through the government “once we get our chunk of the cash” cut away from money raised by taxation, taxation morally justified because it’s taken from millionaires and billionaires.
The Left have become the distilled essence of Statism. They believe that: the government is the ultimate authority the will of the government trumps the will of the people only that which is expressly permitted is allowed wealth is bad (unless it’s in the hands of our .gov overlords) liberty is a commodity handed out by the government criminals are victims of callous society violence is speech and speech is violence While the Right believe that: government is the ultimate hindrance to the lives of free men the will of the people is what allows government to continue to exist… Read more »
I’m thinking a long walk on a short pier with an anvil tied to them. Bodies may not be found, and water and water wildlife doesn’t leave much except bones after a while.
Yeah but enough of that to actually do any good and eventually the end of the pier becomes a hazard to navigation due to bones tied to anvils.
Good point.
An easy fix is to not use the same pier very often.
Maybe just put on boat, go out in the ocean and dump overboard.
Sigh.🙄
Would take too long. Have to see if I can come up with better way. 🤔
“You’ve won a Free Cruise! Yes, a free cruise for you and all of your Congressional associates. Fine dining, free drinks(!), and all the amenities! Our recommissioned classic cruise ship is waiting for you to have the experience of a lifetime!! Reply soon, spaces are filling rapidly!!”

“Captain, that old cruise ship we were ordered to turn into an artificial reef has just come into the operational area. Awaiting orders, sir.”
“Load torpedo tubes one and two. Fire on my command…”
Why should the Navy get to have all the fun?
Cuz I’m a Blue water sailor through and through!!
We Rule The Sea!!
I knew someone would come up with a better idea.
Just remember to suggest “good companionship”.. wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more.
Delivering on that is not mandatory.
Large trebuchets and anvils distributed at the ends of long piers along the coastlines for launching to sea.
Shades of “Dexter.”
