The Left tells us constantly that only illegal aliens will do the jobs that Americans refuse to do. But as Steve Green points out, the actual truth is that only illegal aliens will do the jobs that Americans won’t do FOR THOSE WAGES and UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS.

Piggybacking on Barran’s comment, One of the most disgustingly smelly jobs Mike Rowe did was with the guys who pick up dead animals, any dead animals, cow, dear, dog, pig, horse and haul them up on to the dump truck bed, usually by chain and winch, then truck them to the “rendering house” where they’re ….er…’rendered’ into something else. Paid quite well, owner operator seemed happy and not too twisted from the work. Great example of what can be done for a living.
Steve, your remark at the end about how you have to add the words “for those wages” reminds me of a similar phrase I use.
Whenever someone says “Real Communism has never been tried”, I always add the two words “by me”.
Or I go with “100 million murdered were unavailable for comment”

I’ve always thought that anyone who says anything like “They do the jobs Americans won’t do” was either too stupid to know what they’re talking about or too rich to care about Americans who needed those jobs. Also familiar with losing a job due to no fault of my own. Refinery job lost when “windfall profit tax” was enacted on oil companies and they let go everyone that had been there less than five years.A computer job got bought out and most people lost their job. Didn’t democrats try that “build an economy on the backs of other” not all that long ago in the grand scheme of things? Didn’t work out for them them, don’t expect it to work out this time either. That being said, it’s pretty typical of the party of slavery to continue trying to enslave others to this day. Between poverty plantations, mandated ‘vaccines,’ illegal immigration so they get their houses clean and yards looking good. Not all that much different than forcing women to walk around in toe to head black trash bags coming them.
I loved watching Dirty Jobs when it was on originally. Out of all of those nasty dirty jobs Mike Rowe would showcase every show, I don’t remember many of the workers being illegal aliens. Or foreigners either. Most of them were average americans. So this “jobs Americans won’t do” line was always bunkum.
