On a slightly different note: as pointed out, the critical issue for any country is that most of its inhabitants share similar values and adhere to the formulation of those in its institutions. As a simple example, the immigration of Europeans overthrew the values of the Native Americans, with disastrous results to the indigenous people. I believe what we are seeing now is the lack of adherence, despite protestations, to the values established by those Europeans. I suspect that many voting for Harris are not voting for her. If Biden was Obama’s third term, Harris will be his fourth. The same folks who have been in charge of ol’ Brandon, will continue to call the shots for Kamala. They are voting for the totalitarian oligarchic machine.
When I heard the term flip-flop here, I thought of the kind you wear on your feet.

It fits Kamala well.
She does say, however that her values haven’t changed.
