Supersonic bullets don’t “buzz”, they “crack”. Anyone who’s been shot at knows this very well. That’s the familiar sound you hear from a near miss that lets you know you’re being fired upon before you even hear the report of the rifle being fired. Lots of great comments by so many members. Many with experience as I can tell by their comments. It’s Sunday the 15th. A few days have passed. Lots of thoughts of a crazed 20 year old acting on his own, driven by demons or narratives. Yeah, I can’t swallow the patsy narrative either. Our side of the political divide is terrible at inventing and believing conspiracies. The Left tries to hide its more outlandish nonsense by claiming “that’s just a Right Wingnut conspiracy” and there’s a reason why they took that stance and it works. Because people on the Right have a filthy habit of believing in conspiracies. Even really, really dumb conspiracies. i worked a detail for a presidential candidate back in the 80′ (local level) this occurred because of not having enough secret service coverage. coverage goes out in rings – when you look at video- Trump had his personal coverage , an anti-sniper team, the initial response team that accompanies his cavalcade and that is about it. – the guy’s in camo were local SWAT- normally these are positioned farther out. the fact that no-one was on the other rooftops tells you that local forces were already tapped out on crowd control – leaving security to keep tabs. the failure… Read more »
