The Wheel of History is Turning

For the second week in a row your Right Angle team covers a story too big allow for other episodes. Scott, Steve and Bill discuss the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump, including the appalling failure of the Secret Service on multiple fronts. We also discuss the unique perspective Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance brings to the ticket, and the apparent change that the miraculous deliverance from an assassin’s bullet has had on the candidate himself.

Did they have to have a particular handler for this lunatic, or did they continually make decisions that would leave openings for someone like him. Because they certainly went out of their way to make sure there were opportunities for someone to try this.

BTW, the whole “sloped roof” thing proves she’s not competent for the job … she doesn’t know jack shit about the field. This is not a good look for DEI.

Incidentally – note there are no riots in response to the attempt.

That’s a data point.

Hi boys, and community. Hadn’t gotten a chance to watch this until now. Some … believe it or not MORE important, high-resolution in my life events have intervened (involving spouse, life threatening condition, emergency surgery, cancer tests – ultimately negative but I didn’t know that at the time… it’s been hectic.) Of course it’s like 10 days later. And we do know more, but the more we found out the more questions we have. Very easy to believe, of course, that a lone leftist whacko would try this. In fact, I’ve been expecting it. And at first I rationalized, and… Read more »

Biden just dropped out. Sunday 1:45pm.
Should be an interesting DNC.

It may resemble The Hunger Games.

It resembled The Hunger Games BEFORE he dropped. The D’s are comprised of just those very type of tyrants and sycophants (psycho-pants?).

Well, the elected officials and bureaucrats think they are the ELITE from the Hunger Games. Those who want the nomination will be the tributes fighting each other. That could be fun(ny) in a weird way.

Funny or not, I’d pay to see it at least once.
Perhaps it’s a potential market opportunity. Step right up and see your representative fight to the death for re-election!

Combination Hunger Games and Running Man.
A game show to decide who gets to be the nominee.
Put it on PPV and that is the only source of campaign contributions.
Winner takes all, loser gets retired in a serious way.

Think of the possibilities.

That same report about the cop peeking on the roof noted that his sniper team was a sniper team, not a counter-sniper team–a different skills set, apparently.

Dan Bongino, ex-USSS PPD agent, covered recent revelations on his Friday show.

Was in college for JFK, Nam for RFK and MLK, between positions for Reagan, retired for Trump. Will this shirt never end! My eye are sweating again.

A friend of mine was the duty sharpshooter when President Reagan visited Purdue University. I asked if his ROE said to give the assassin a free shot. He said, “No.”

More of this (link) is what is needed on this whole subject. It’s good that Donald survived, but the ones who did not are to be remembered and central to our discussions.

The expression I have seen on Pres.Trump’s face the last few days makes me think that he is grateful to have been tested under fire and that in the moment he arose to the situation and prevailed. He didn’t run and he didn’t hide. In other words I wonder if he now feels more worthy to be in charge of the lives of our soldiers….young people about whom he so obviously cares. He feels like the commander in chief for real not just ceremonially
