Some of these picks, probably three, won’t go through. I’d be shocked if RFK, jr. gets by and Gaetz is most likely a “no”. There’s going to be WW III with Musk/Ramaswamy. There’s Cretaceous-sized gators in that swamp. Republicans just don’t know how to get on board like Pelosi’s dems. And, yes, I know that those latter two aren’t up for a vote.
Which is a real shame, because those are three of the disrupters, the ones who need confirmation the most.
The latest I’m hearing is that Gaetz is being set up as a sacrifice so the Dems can say they stopped someone while putting a very public face on our RINOs when they betray us.
Next step will be for DeSantis to appoint him to the Senate to fill the vacancy once Rubio is confirmed.
We also need to have congress take a look at the faulty 2020 census and fix it.
Our smiles just keep growing wider and wider. Our relief is profound. We know the Left is going to do anything and everything to try to thwart our real improvements, but this time they are hamstrung by their own hubris. The Biden Administration is moving to dump every possible military aid asset it can get access to into Ukraine. This is effectively emptying the lethal aid pipeline into Ukraine and can’t leave anything if much for Israel. It also leaves Taiwan wide open with no more aid incoming and the Taiwanese reliant on only what they have on hand now. By the time Trump takes office there will be no military materials left to ship anywhere if these bastards can swing it. This is going to have several effects on the Trump Administration. Another coup d’états? At this point, Trump’s pick for AG is Matt Gaetz, who raised the usual caterwauling and clutched beads by both parties.
To hear even some of the political pundits, Gaetz is the proverbial kiss of death. I ain’t no pundit and I ain’t no lawyer, but I definitely appreciate an ass-kicker as opposed to a RINO elitist who believes he’s above it all.
I like Gaetz and MTG and those who stick it in the nose of the elitist class.
At news of Gaetz selection, members of DOD and DOJ began threatening to quit if he takes the position. Which is just proof that these leaches know that they are “surplus to requirements”. Gaetz didn’t need lift a finger and his job is getting done!
It’s fairly common for a cog to think of itself as indispensable. Only people who wrongly think they cannot be replaced would try to exercise influence and blackmail their superiors with threats of quitting. The best response to such threats is …

At this point, we’ve learned that Gaetz withdrew consideration for nomination, preceded by his resignation from Congress and followed almost immediately by Trump’s nomination of Pam Bondi. I’m sure Gaetz knows there’s lots more money in legal practice as opposed to being one of 435 members (despite the gobs of perks). Further, Ron DeSantis hasn’t indicated an leaning for Gaetz’s appointment for Rubio (should Rubio be confirmed as SECSTATE).
