Justice Department Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz releases his report essentially clearing former FBI officials James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and others of launching an investigation into the Trump campaign’s connections with Russia for political reasons.
Former FBI Director James Comey gets busted by a new Inspector General report from the Justice Department, for taking home classified documents related to President Trump. The report says Comey knowingly violated FBI rules and his employment agreement, setting a bad example for 35,000 Bureau staffers. So far, no criminal charges. Bill Whittle says this story is much worse than it looks.
Bill Whittle can’t understand the Constitutional problem with asking a citizenship question on the decennial census, since the entire purpose of the census is to determine Congressional apportionment, and only citizens can vote…so far. Progressives and Democrats say that legal immigrants will avoid answering the census if it might jeopardize the ability of their illegal friends and family to stay in the United States.
The New York Times quotes former hostages of the Taliban, Iran and Somali pirates, saying they received a toothbrush, soap and blankets from their terrorist captors to highlight allegations that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection detention facilities don’t provide these basic hygiene items to migrant detainees…including children. Will “At least the Taliban gave me a toothbrush” become the latest battle cry in the movement to improve treatment of illegal aliens?
