With every week, Biden and the Left make choices that should alienate the sensibilities of 95% of America. Should, but apparently don’t. Medal of Freedom to George Soros?!?!? Pardoning murdering rapists?!?!? Knee-capping future oil exploration by making millions of acres unavailable?!?! Yet the other half of the voting block goes along with it. It’s shocking Biden won last election, running with obvious dementia then, but with a worse platform than functioning brains, too. Trump isn’t a conservative, but he’s so much better than Kamala so as not to be more than a gag. But she still got 47% of the… Read more »

Gotta disagree with Scott about Landman. Yes his speech about alternative energy was spot on but what makes a good series is the ensemble. This holds true for hour long drama series as well as 30 minute comedies. There’s so much more than simply supporting the oil industry. It’s about the personal relationships between the characters. Just like Yellowstone and Lioness.

Never watched Lioness and probably won’t but I’ve been enjoying Landman immensely. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t require my entertainment to support or promote my personal views and morality because if I did there wouldn’t be any entertainment at all anymore. But it sure is nice if once in a while I’d see something that at least tries to show our side of things too and Landman did that. It’s well written, realistic for the most part and I like it almost as much as Yellowstone but for different reasons.

I think it’s about time that the Republican Party finally decided that it’s not a good idea to be “Leftism Light” nor that “it’s my way or the highway” and stand on a sinking ship of political principles. Americans are by default and self-interest center Right politically. We have it pretty damn good here and when politicians make things less than good there’s going to be a backlash eventually. That’s what just happened in the last election. A big part of the problem in the past has been Republicans focus on abstracts like the impact of taxes. Less taxes are… Read more »

I believe I saw a clip of Jon Cryer on Bill Maher making that exact point, that Republicans won because Americans hate blacks and gays.

Yep, and I encourage Democrats to keep telling themselves that all the way through 2028 – winning platform!

I was driving through Bavaria with my wife – yes, that Bavaria – and this giant windmill appears on the horizon. The blades were still. It looked like something from the movie “War of the Worlds”. (If you’ve never been to the Schwarzenweld, the Black Forest, go during the time of the Christmas Markets.) Leftists are kidding themselves if they think this abomination of an energy plan is good for their country. Even if it could almost pay for itself, which it won’t, it ruins the beauty of the land to the point of abandoning hope for the future.
