Churchill and Zelensky: ALLIES vs. FRIENDS

Two leaders of two nations facing extinction at the hands of a ruthless and brutal invader. One is a former comedian, the other a direct descendant of the legendary Duke of Marlborough. So why was the representative of the most powerful nation in the history of the world willing to come to the President of the United States of America as a polite, optimistic and gracious friend and supplicant, while the former comedian wasn’t?

The ultimate plan with Russia is to have natural gas from the US replace Russian fuel for the Europeans, sanction them economically if they continue to be bad actors, and hope the weakness shown by their military effort in Ukraine makes them less likely to be more of a threat. They will be unlikely to afford rebuilding Ukraine if that was even discussed. Our proxy war has neutered all but their nukes. They only have a few more “cards to play” than Zelenskyy. I think Trump will “allow” Putin, in a face-saving gesture, to keep his captured Black Sea port… Read more »

Zenleskyys plan for peace is that putin get out of Ukraine, pay to repair ALL of Ukraine and support the victims and relatives of the dead.

Not gonna happen. There’s absolutely NO reason Putin would agree to that and worse yet there is no way to force him to do it.

Did you miss the part where Bill said that to insist on that would mean Putin’s death were he to allow it to happen? And that Putin knows that? What on earth has Putin ever done to make you think he’s suicidal?

That’s an absurdity and the rest of what you said on this page just builds on that absurdity. It doesn’t matter how much you insist on an absurdity, it’s still absurd.

Except that honey doesn’t work when the other guy is trying to pour vinegar all over your waffles.

Ukraines victory is a WORLD victory because December 6th 1941WILL happen again if a dictator/putin is allowed to occupy a free and independent country.

That’s true as far as it goes. The thing is that Putin is NOT “occupying a free and independent country” … YET. He’s occupying about a quarter of that country and if we want to stop him we need to be realistic about what’s doable and what is not. Insisting that something that’s not going to happen must happen, as you are doing, is the best possible way to assure Putin gets the whole country and positions himself to present a credible threat to NATO. Your way is the way to losing the whole ball of wax. It’s kind of… Read more »

Of course he is. That doesn’t change anything because he’s not going to rebuild Ukraine and no one can make him do so.

putin IS a war criminal & NEEDS to be brought to justice. russia IS a terrorist state, give Ukraine everything they ask for to end russia crimes. I heard “ERASE” the Kremlin” I AGREE. Make russia small again because it occupies 21 republics.
Trump IS guilty of aiding a rapist, putin & being a hypocrite by forcing Panama to honor the treaty but Trump is ok with being a hypocrite & ignore Americas OBLIGATION, Budapest Memorandum, to defend Ukraine against a tyrannical Russian dictator.

Ukraine is accepting foreign volunteers for their military. Pack your trash and get on the road to Kiev. Write us and let us know how that works out for you. Good luck, once you find out what war is like you might be a bit more pliable when it comes to sending other people into it.
