UPDATE!
While the podcast audio-only version was fun, it pales in comparison to the video version, which was released a few days ago and which can be found here:
It’s An Embarrassment of Riches Wednesday folks, starting with with my appearance on the Mike Rowe podcast. Most of it was supposed to be about ‘An Empire of Terror’ (premiering today; more on that later), but it ended up being a lot more fun and personal. This is my third time with Mike’s podcast and, as usual, we had an absolute blast. (The fine fellow on the left is Mike’s producer and co-host, Chuck Klausmeyer)

really a spectacular episode with these two guys. What a privilege to be able to eavesdrop on a conversation between two pals.. It looked like they had been long time friends. Thanks for the chance to listen and watch.
A six star interview
For Story Mechanics, hopefully Bill can remember the question he’d ask Mike Rowe in response to a The Stratosphere Lounge question I had for Bill. The set up was: Bill walks into a LAX VIP airliner lounge, and he sees Mike Rowe and Dr. Thomas Sowell sitting there having a conversation. Mike spots Bill and asks him to sit and join them. No Rumble links?
This will be a Mike Rowe production, not a Whittle one. If Mike doesn’t co-host his videos on Rumble there won’t be a link.
Yeah, I know…that’s why I was asking. Save me the time searching to find any. (as if I actually expected anyone to answer)
Bill Whittle and Mike Rowe. Two of my favorite humans! Would that I could see them together live and in person! Oh well, I’m NEVER going back to California, so that’s probably just a pipe dream. Youtube will have to do.
Mike Rowe is the working man’s intellectual. Or is that the intellectual’s working man? Most likely he’s the intellectual’s intellectual who knows how to work and its benefits, and I thank you for sharing your conversation with him.
This was an unexpected treat. Thanks for posting it on the site. More, please.
I watched this podcast on youtube last night (where you can catch the ceiling foam fall on Mike!), and then couldn’t resist listening again to podcast (which has a preliminary intro and several musical ads interjected).
Great! Interplay between Mike and Bill was fantastic, two wordsmiths jousting together, thinking on their feet, riffing off each other… content also great, btw, but what else would you expect from Bill!
There is truth in the humble recognition that “Junior Samples” types have a niche in life where they excel way, way past expectations.
Nice “Hot Rod Lincoln” reference!
