How can I stop words from crowding pictures in a blog post?

If you insert a photo in your post, you’ll want to create a little buffer zone around it so the words don’t press against its edges.

Click on the photo, and select an alignment/text wrap icon to position the picture relative to the text.

Click the little pencil icon, to bring up the photo formatting box and choose the Advanced tab.

When you enter numbers in the vertical and horizontal space fields, you’ll see some CSS code appear in the Style field. I’ve chosen 10px of vertical and horizontal space. (I didn’t select a border style, so my border width setting is irrelevant.) Click OK, and you’ll see that there’s a bit of white space around the picture that looks nice.
