Corporations all across America are rethinking their position on one of the most widely-despised blights on modern society: DEI, or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The Wall Street Journal is referring to it as ‘a business fad.’

We should be so lucky.

DEI is designed to do 1 thing, promote Division, Inequity and Exclusion. HR is where the petty tyrants who have no power or dignity go to attack people who actually have skills and intelligence.

When the terms diversity and discrimination are no longer specific to classes of people, which are defined by immutable human characteristics, then the conversation can resume. Until then, there is nothing to discuss, because no common perspectives between the rational and irrational are possible.

I was waiting for The Guys to mention this but they didn’t … “Dei” is the latin genitive singular for “Deus”. It means “god” or “God” depending on how it’s applied. As in “Opus Dei” (Work of God), Mater Dei (Mother of God), or Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) ETC. DEI in the sense of the topic of this video is a religious structure, it is forced conversion along the same lines as Islam advocates. You’ll either submit or be put to the sword, figuratively. I know this is a predictable generational response, but the new hires forced into my past surgical practice by the DEI-mad Medical Group that took over my hospital were the most entitled, unprepared for reality, disrespectful, and easily bruised “children” I’d ever encountered. That’s why I left for the mountains to ease out of “the crazy”. I consider the decision wise and serendipitous at the same time.
