The horrific stabbing of a young Ukrainian woman on a Charlotte tram was the opening act of a week of horror here in the United States. The Mayor of Charlotte said that ‘we can’t arrest our way’ out of this kind of random, savage brutality. OH YES WE CAN.

Due to the timing of their recording and the posting of the video, we watchers at least have some good news to share back in time to the guys. I’ve seen at least two stories about events at Charlie Kirk memorials where some brainless thug tried destroying the mementos left behind and was tackled and held by the people there. In one case he was pepper or bear sprayed. I hope this is part of the turning where people have realized it is up to us and step up more often and more visibly. Looking to the passengers on Flight… Read more »

Charlotte political landscape has a Democratic mayor, Vi Alexander Lyles, with majority of the city council members also affiliated with the Democratic Party (only 1 Republican). In short, another #$%^&* Blue-city fail. Even in Red-TN, Solid-Blue-Memphis has gone this route as well (Detroit/Chicago levels of crime), as evidenced by National Guard heading there as well. Beware, even Nashville is heading same direction. I disagree with Scott Ott: Personally, I feel @ssholes like these should NOT be jailed but terminated – immediately. Personally, I do not want to support scum like this for the remainder of their lives. Personally, I am… Read more »

Yes, yes, yes. Thank you so much for saying what I felt when I saw the video of this horrible murder. As an American I feel so ashamed of those people doing nothing. Have we sunk so low…the more I learned about Iryna and the murder’s background and his being let off by an activist judge the worse I felt. Thanks for putting it words.
One exception. IMHO, He deserves to have his throat cut like he did her, no prison, just quick execution…and the judge should be in jail.

Democrats benefit from fear and poverty, so why wouldn’t they support it?

One point seemingly missing from this discussion is that the judges and parole boards that return these people to the streets to rampage on the population, need to be charged with accessory to the crimes that are then committed!

I’m old enough to remember passing Agnews “State Hospital” or also know as Agnews the Great Asylum for the Insane. You could see it from your window while driving along Hwy 101 in the Santa Clara (San Jose) Valley. My father would talk of it, time to time, as we’d pass. Happy knowing some of the most insane, and potentially dangerous people are cared for “in there…glad they’re not out here”. I also remember the Deinstitutionalizing period, coming to it’s Zenith with the premier of One Flew Over the Cukoo’s Nest. Earlier, in 1963, President John F Kennedy signed the… Read more »

Oh and Lookie who sponsored the bill: Primary Sponsor Senator John A. Carroll (D-CO): As chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on Health, he introduced S. 1576 in the Senate on April 11, 1963. Carroll was a key figure in advancing Kennedy’s agenda on health issues, including mental health reform. Key Cosponsors and Supporters The bill had broad bipartisan support, reflecting the Democratic-majority Congress’s alignment with Kennedy’s New Frontier initiatives. Humphrey (D-MN): Vice President-elect and a prominent advocate for social welfare legislation; he cosponsored and… Read more »

In our society today you just go out there and try to say somebody is ‘mentally unfit,’ ‘mentally unstable,’ or anything else the left doesn’t like to hear!

I looked and both of my CCW permits are recognized by North Carolina. I know exactly how I would have responded!!

As Scott mentioned in most of the country people come from miles around to help, in the lefty run cities the opposite happens, people come from miles around to loot.

To bring about the revolution of the dispossessed, there aren’t enough dispossessed in this country so the left continually works to increase that number. That’s why every ‘solution’ or theirs makes things worse. Poverty Inc and Homelessness Inc have no intention of ever ending their iron rice bowls.
