The campaign to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom and his effort to fend off that recall come down to a single issue. Newsom attacks Republican Larry Elder (and no one else), but the governor seems to think that Californians want to keep the mask mandate and that he can scare voters by saying that Elder will end it.
