President Trump is the perfect man for times of pandemic, according to Politico’s Zachary Karabell, because he’s not an ideological conservative, and he knows how to spend piles of money. While Karabell may have meant that as an insult, he might just be right. With a personal history of highly-leveraged businesses, it’s hard to imagine another Republican who could be comfortable with massive federal spending as a Donald Trump.
