‘The 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special is the worst piece of Star Was trash in history!’ The Acolyte: ‘Hold my beer.’
It really is that bad. It took four decades for Disney to turn a $4,000,000,000 franchise into compostable garbage, but they managed to pull it off at last.

I got through the first episode. Second. Nope. Seemed so silly. And the actors were unlikeable. What a waste of Midi-Chlorians..assuming they have them.
Love the reference to the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Bill.
I just wish I could get a copy of Star Wars where Hans Solo shoots first without all the crap that was added when the original trilogy was remixed. Oops I mean remastered. I shudder to think of what a wokeified version of The Fifth Element might look like.
Critical Drinker gave up on Acolyte after three episodes.
Oops. It looks li e he’s continued through at least episode five.
Yeah, I’m guessing he got too many views and realized he and struck reaction content gold.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to2SMng4u1k this IS THE most AWESOME New Hope fan made short. I wish these creators would get with me to make a 3 hour New New hope that WOULD be LOVED by the fans
Wow. It’s amazing what content can be produced by people who don’t hate Star wars and its fans
agree w/Bill… Bye bye Disney/Star Wars. “So long and thanks for all the fish.” (nyoice Hitch-hiker’s Guide reference). To continue w/Hitch-hiker guide theme … 1st … “Don’t Panic”, failure is part of learning. As for the void/crater left by the woke-mob-bombs, recall that: nature abhors a vacuum; so I expect others to fill it, sooner … or later.
Steve with the Empire mug…..
When I was a kid, on rare occasions on summertime weekends my dad would pop a batch of popcorn, put it in a paper grocery bag, load us in the family car and take us to the drive-in that was only 1 mile up the road from the house to see a movie. I can remember him asking the person taking the money at the gate “Is this a good one or one that the critics raved about?”. That always stuck with me over the years and has turned out to be a real eye-opener as to how movies are… Read more »
I use Rotten Tomatos in reverse, if the critics love it I know it’s woke, I go by the audience score.
Me too!
Exactly – High audience score + low critics = awesome
Steve is right in that Disney just doesn’t want to tell stories like they used to do. But I’m somewhat in disagreement as to why. I don’t think that it can be boiled down to “they don’t want to.” When you build a company…no, scratch that. When you trans-form a company like Disney into a cultural Marxist propaganda machine, where only like-minded people are hired based upon what’s between their legs and the color of their skin, then you end up with a group of untalented people running the ship. Not only do the people at Disney not want to… Read more »
Very well said. I will never support Disney due to their evil nasty agenda!
