The Washington Post story indicates much of the $660 billion COVID-19 Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) — cheap or free loans — went to big firms, Members of Congress and others who didn’t need it. Some 90,000 loans apparently produced no jobs, and 43 Planned Parenthood locations initially took the federal cash. Did the Post suddenly realize that federal government redistribution schemes are rife with mismanagement and corruption?
