Nothing is a better example of “a party of ghouls” than the new state laws in Virginia and Massachusetts that let you murder a baby at conception.

Never forget that we have equally despicable unhinged people on the “right” too. Of course we don’t agree with them any more than we agree with ANTIFA or those who openly and gleefully celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder but there are people “on our side” who sure as hell do … We’ve had several of those shitheels in here and I’ve noticed that most of you cannot bestir yourselves to say a damn thing to put their nonsense in the dark and fetid place where the sun never shines that it belongs.. Just because a crazy morally bereft POS claims to… Read more »

The Daily Wire comments section is overrun by trolls, to the point I wonder if paying them no attention might be the better option.

I’m not talking about trolls. Kommie Donnie and the others that have been in here are not trolls. They’re not here to harass us for being us, they’re true believers here to try to recruit. People in here that have brought up idiotic conspiracy theories are not trolls either. The Chemtrail Crazies and all the rest are serious but wrong. If you ignore a wrong it will only spread wider, deeper and faster. That’s where the saying “A lie goes all the way around the world before the truth can get its pants on” comes from. The problem in both… Read more »

I absolutely get Bill’s concerns about the reaction (and his reaction to that reaction) when The Donald is finally standing at the Pearly Gates telling St Peter the gates need more gilding. If the left’s reaction here to Lady Thatcher’s death and funeral back in 2013 is anything to go by, he’ll need to keep a tight grip on his emotions. The British MSM made sure we got to see the various outpourings of vicious joy at the death of an 87 year woman who had left office 23 years before. I was one of the thousands that went to… Read more »

“His death comes far too late to be the cause of any rejoicing.”

That is a fantastic way to express one’s loathing without the inappropriate fanfare. Thanks.

A plurality of democrats think a military junta is a dance move.

But antifa is anti-fascist. It’s in the name. 😮😏

A name is often nothing more than a mask to hide the persona.

I keep thinking (because I can rarely say) just because they were against the fascists doesn’t make them democratic, just communists. What popped into my head and prompted me to write it down so I hopefully remember it better, is that like the AFC/NFC in the NFL or the AL and NL in MLB (and my local Brewers with a day off today) are the rivalries on one side that affect no one on the other. My Brewers will care some about the Cubs/Padres’ game today, but I have no idea who the Padres’ regular season rival is, to say… Read more »

Antifa is nothing more than a group of useful idiots with violent tendencies — both of which the world would be a better place without.

“Bill, how did we get here?”

Steve, WE didn’t get here, THEY got here.

You are both correct, becase the larger WE in that equation has been largely appathetic — allowing THE[M] to gain more power during the course of the past 100+ years. This problem exceeds generations, and it is not completely attributable to the US of the most recent few generations since many individuals, like yourself, cannot claim any culpability for current circumstances. Unfortunately, WE are required to deal with it. This is OUR war, and, for the sake of our progeny, we must not shirk the responsibilties.

Robert Heinlein provided some good advice as the depth of the divide in our country may never be able to be functionally bridged!

One of my favorite books is “The Notebooks of Lazarus Long”. All of Heinlein’s wisdom from the LL books, in one volume. Quotes to live by.
